An automated system built with OpenClaw, Claude, and Instagram trial reels has been used by content creator Ben Guez to generate significant engagement for dating outreach. Guez configured OpenClaw to track World Cup results, which then triggered Claude to create and post a consistent "trial reel" template. These videos depicted Guez looking dejected with a caption inviting emotional support from women in the losing country. Instagram's "trial reels" are a feature that does not display content on a creator's public profile, allowing Guez to repeat the same post, customized only by country name, over a dozen times without cluttering his feed. This setup generated over one million views and 200 direct messages (DMs) within days. A notable aspect of this method is that Guez directs DMs to his AI language learning app, Canary, requiring interested parties to download it.
